Well another year has passed and what an exciting year it was for OTTA and the towing industry!

We grew in membership again and we had more events, and more participation than ever before.
 

• Here is what OTTA accomplished for you in 2007:
• Helped the 2007 Oregon Legislature craft two towing bills: SB 116 and SB 431.
• In the 2007 Legislative Sessions helped defeat four bills that would have crippled the towing industry.
• On-going discussions with OSP on the OSP Non-Preference Rules.
• Exceptional quarterly information meetings throughout Oregon.
• Fantastic training classes on various towing techniques.
• Incredible statewide input from towers on the OSP non-preference rules.
• New mobile chapter meetings around the state.
• State participant in NW Regional Tow Show in Reno.
• Worked with towers around the state on city and county towing contracts.
• Solutions to OTTA members every day problems and concerns.
   

What does the year 2008 bring?
We will be building on the accomplishments of the year 2007 with more great training classes, seminars, and outstanding Quarterly Informational meetings. As a member, you will receive our Tow Fax or TNT Bulletins with the latest information on what is going on in our industry. You will be part of helping us determine what is the best solution for our abandoned vehicle problem. And remember we will be working the Legislature during its first annual session starting in February of 2008.  We will also be preparing for the Legislative Session beginning in January, 2009!

The OTTA 2008 dues are based on the number of trucks you operated last year. Here is our truck category breakdown:

One Truck $250.00
Two to Five Trucks $400.00
Six to Ten Trucks $500.00

Associate Members (Suppliers & Supporters of OTTA) $300.00
